At Fort Lewis Baptist Church, we offer weekly worship services that are open to everyone.
Our services are relaxed and welcoming, and we strive to create an atmosphere of love and acceptance. We invite you to join us for worship and fellowship, and to learn more about the teachings of Jesus.

The Bible teaches that everyone is made in the image of God. That means you are valued, you are accepted, and you are invited.
We are committed to loving God and loving others, and to be known for our love for one another.
We strive to glorify God through worship that is rooted in scripture, and that draws us closer to Him.
We are called to serve our community and those in need, through both physical and spiritual acts of love and kindness.
We seek to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to all people, and to share the gospel through both deed and word.
We prioritize the practice of discipling others in the faith, helping them to grow in their understanding of the Bible and their relationship with God.
We strive to be wise stewards of the resources God has given us, using them to meet the needs of the church and community.
We seek to foster unity in diversity, standing together as a church family united in our purpose of sharing God’s love.
We strive to be a holy people, living in obedience to God’s Word and in surrender to the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
We seek to fulfill the Great Commission, making disciples of Jesus Christ in our region and beyond.
We belief the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical truths.
There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
God has revealed Himself to us through his Son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God. Jesus loves you more than you can possibly imagine and is the only hope you have to be saved from your sin.
Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. However, we have been distorted and corrupted by sin. Humanity's sin broke creation, infected all of us with sinful DNA, and caused a separation between a perfect, holy God and imperfect, sinful humanity ever since.
Salvation is not about what you do- it's about what Jesus did. Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our rebellious transgressions. God raised Jesus from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
